The Vulkan Ultra Light is Vulkan Fight Company's competition model Jiu-Jitsu gi. Vulkan's exclusive Honey Comb Weaved Fabric makes it possible for the Ultra Light to be a double weave kimono, but Lighter than their Pro Light model--  as light as 2.4 lbs. Along with incredible durability at such a light weight, the trademark Honey Comb weave and Rubber Lapel enables faster drying. All Vulkan BJJ uniforms are Made in Brazil & 100% Pre-Shrunk.

The Vulkan Ultra Light Gi model is IBJJF Approved and a great option for Jiu-Jitsu tournaments which require competitors to weigh-in wearing their BJJ gi.

This is a true BJJ Gi and it holds up so well. What I love about it is its pre-shrunk feature. It is so well constructed. I am very satisfied with this Gi and I think that it is definitely a great Gi for its price.

Great for hot & humid November 1, 2011

I was looking for another gi because I realized I would need a lighter gi that breathes to train in the summer. This one is great! I recommend this to EVERYONE-- especially to those looking for a cool alternative in humid summer months!

Vulkan Ultra Light Gis are great for summer October 14, 2011

I originally bought my Vulkan Ultra Light for a competition Jiu-Jitsu gi, but now I use it for a summer gi because it is so light that it barely increases your body's temperature.
